Trump wanders at a great danger: “Bad things will happen”

US President Donald warned TrumpYesterday, Saturday, from the severe consequences if Afghanistan is not considered the “Bagram” air base to US control, describing the matter as a very important strategic issue.

“If Afghanistan is no longer the Bagram Air Force Base to the party it has established, the United States, bad things will happen,” Trump said in a post on his “Truth Social” platform.

On Thursday, Trump announced, during a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer, that the United States “is trying to restore the Bagram base”, pointing to its strategic location near China.

This is not the first statement of Trump on “Paghram”, as he had previously expressed his desire to restore the base months ago, but the Taliban then rejected any discussion on this matter. He also told reporters, on Friday, that “our forces leave the Bagram base during the Biden era was one of the worst days in our history.”

The Baghram Air Force Base is 11 km southeast of Charicar in the Afghan state of Barouan, and was the largest American military bases in Afghanistan, as it represented the backbone of the American military presence since the invasion in 2001.

But it fell in the hands of the Taliban after the American chaotic withdrawal in 2021, which faced widespread criticism in the American, and was considered one of the most prominent failures of the administration of President Joe Biden.
