Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize then!

Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te said that US President Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize if he is able to convince his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping to abandon the option of force against Taiwan, which Beijing considers a rebellious province belonging to it.

Speaking this week on the “Clay Travis and Buck Sexton” show, which airs on more than 400 radio stations and holds conservative views, Lai referred to Trump’s comments in August in which he said Xi had told him that China would not launch an invasion of Taiwan while he was president.
