During the past few days, a group of photos showed a gathering of masked persons in a forestry area, and the photos were attached to the phrase: “Mansuriyah, with a mortar of the day of the day, holding the Syrian flag that was written on the number 811 ″.
According to local sources, Liebon Deepite confirmed, the security services have immediately started following up these pictures to verify the identity of the persons apparent in them and reveal the nature of the activity they were practicing in that region, in an attempt to contain any possible security repercussions.

For his part, the mayor of Mansourieh, Fouad Al -Hajj, denied the validity of what is being circulated on the communication sites, explaining in his interview with “Lebonn Debate”: “The deployed images do not reflect the reality on the ground, and we have no knowledge of the place where these images were taken that caused a widespread confusion in the region.”
He added: “We contacted the security services that confirmed to us that there is no suspicious activity in the region, and we as a municipality are fully aware of the sensitivity of the matter, and we have taken proactive measures related to the issue of the displaced, but unfortunately we were not informed of these pictures before publishing them.”
Al -Hajj pointed out that “the field tour that we did confirmed the incorrectness of what appears in the pictures, which seems to be fabricated.”
He stressed that “the municipality, in cooperation with the security forces, is making extensive efforts to prevent any security defect in the region, especially with regard to the issue of the displaced Syrians.”
And between what appeared in the pictures that sparked a wave of anxiety and suspicion and between the municipality’s denial, the biggest question remains, is what happened is just “childish behaviors”, or does the matter carry a real risk that requires an in -depth security investigation and decisive movement by the competent agencies?
