The International Committee of the Red Cross announced that it is ready to facilitate the reunification of families and the introduction of humanitarian aid to Gaza while preserving the safety and dignity of civilians.
“A permanent ceasefire is decisive to save lives and stop the whirlpool of death and destruction,” the committee chairman, Miriana Spllaric.
She added that since October 2023, the committee has facilitated the release of 148 hostages and 1,931 Palestinian detainees, and the return of human remains so that families can mourning in dignity, calling for all the release operations in a safe and dignified manner.
