The pressure fell

A clear feeling of most political leaders in Lebanon prevails that international and regional pressure on the Lebanese state is still present, but it is no longer the same intensity that has witnessed the past months.

The current political climate suggests a broader margin to launch a serious dialogue that may lead to phased settlements that reduce the severity of internal division.
They consider that what happened in the recent cabinet session constitutes additional evidence that the doors are no longer fully closed, and that there is greater preparation than different parties to search for realistic solutions that open the way for a relative calm in the next stage.
