The Kataeb: Any invitation to the dialogue is welcome, but after the arms confined to the Lebanese state

The Phalangi Political Bureau held its periodic meeting chaired by the party leader, MP Sami Al -Gemayel, and after circulation in the last data, the following statement issued:
The Political Bureau confirms that dialogue in Lebanon is an option that is welcomed when its goal is to establish the concept of the homeland and build the state, but it cannot be called a dialogue that aims to reconsider or drop the decision to limit arms in the hands of the state and extend its authority over its entire lands, as this matter is not a political choice but rather a constitutional duty stipulated by international laws and agreements. Any attempt to put it as a negotiating item is an explicit departure from the foundations of the state. The Political Bureau stresses that the Phalanges Party, which was the first to call for a conference for openness and reconciliation between the Lebanese, welcomes any invitation to dialogue, but after confining weapons to the Lebanese state, so that it becomes a natural step towards rebuilding the country and installing the state’s pillars and sovereignty. The application of the law on all Lebanese territory will be completed in the next session by approving the practical plan that the army leadership will submit in implementation of the Council of Ministers, which constitutes a serious step towards restoring the sovereignty of the state and the prestige of institutions. The political bureau pointed out the start of the path of delivery of weapons from the camps, which is a long -awaited file and led in the past to great tragedies in which the Lebanese pushed, especially the Phalange Party, the most expensive price, stressing that There is no actual stability without the exclusivity of weapons in the hands of the state in every part of the Lebanese territories. In parallel to the path of imposing sovereignty internally, the Phalanges Party called on the international community to pressure Israel to withdraw from the Lebanese territories.
