The Israeli President praises Trump’s role in the Gaza agreement: He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize

Israeli President Isaac Herzog considered that US President Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to reach an agreement between Israel and Hamas to end the war in Gaza.

“There is no doubt that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for this,” Herzog wrote on the X platform on Thursday, describing the agreement as “an opportunity for reconciliation, recovery, and opening a new horizon of hope for our region.”

Trump had previously announced that the indirect negotiations in Egypt had resulted in significant progress. Under the first phase of the US peace plan, all hostages held in Gaza will be released, and Israeli forces will withdraw to an agreed-upon line. Hamas confirmed its participation in the agreement.
