The Lebanese Press Editors Syndicate received a letter from the General Union of Arab Journalists, attaching to it a letter addressed to the head of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, Nasser Abu Bakr, regarding participation in the activities commemorating the second anniversary of the war of genocide against the Palestinian people and denouncing the Israeli crimes against Palestinian journalists. In his speech, Abu Bakr asked to organize solidarity vigils in front of the union or inside it to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and Palestinian journalists, of whom 525 were martyred, more than 200 were arrested, and 450 were injured. Wednesday, 10/8/2025, has been set as the date for the solidarity stand.
Accordingly, the union calls on male and female colleagues to carry out the vigil at its headquarters at eleven thirty on the day specified above.
