The disclosure of a Syrian -Israeli agreement … Here are its most prominent items

The “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” published the provisions of a new agreement reached between Israel and the new Syrian government, under American auspices, with the aim of reducing the escalation between the two parties.
The observatory revealed that the security file in As -Suwayda will be transferred to the American authorities, which will follow up the implementation of the terms of the agreement, which stipulates “the withdrawal of all tribal forces and the public security forces until after the Druze villages, where the Druze factions will comb the villages to ensure that they are evacuated from these forces.”
The observatory pointed to the formation of local councils from the sons of As -Suwayda to provide services, in addition to a committee to document violations that submit its reports to the American side. The agreement also stipulated that disarmament in the Quneitra and Daraa regions, and the formation of local security committees from the population, who does not have weapons.
According to the agreement, any organization or institution affiliated with the Syrian government is prohibited to As -Suwayda, with the exception of the United Nations organizations that are allowed to work in the region.
In the same context, American sources revealed to the “Axios” website that senior Syrian and Israeli officials held talks in the French capital, Paris, by the special envoy of US President Donald TrumpTom Barak, lasted for four hours, with the aim of discussing a reduction in tension between the two sides.
This meeting is the highest official level between Syria and Israel in more than 25 years, and the Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs included Ron Dermer and Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al -Shaibani, according to the newspaper “Times of Israel”.
This meeting comes days after an extensive Israeli military escalation campaign on Syria under the pretext of “protecting the Druze”, after a major attack by government factions and supporting groups on the province of As -Suwayda, which resulted in the death of about 1339 people, and caused tragic humanitarian conditions, in light of the siege imposed by factions loyal to the transitional authorities on the region.
Reuters reported that the recent escalation came as a result of a “misunderstanding” from the Syrian administration, which it thought had obtained an American -Israeli green light that allowed it to attack the endosperm.
