The current: We regret the confusion in the government on the issue of exclusive weapons

The Political Council of the Free National Movement held its periodic meeting chaired by Representative Gibran Bassil, and he discussed its agenda and issued the following statement:
1 – The “current” regrets the confusion in the government on the issue of exclusive weapons, as it agreed to the “American paper” or its goals and then retracted it or considered it unlikely, as expressed by the Deputy Prime Minister, hinting to decipher the commitment to what the Council of Ministers previously agreed to because of the Israeli lack of approval. The government is free to quickly put what it called in its statement a national defense strategy in order to be the Lebanese paper that it adheres to before the Lebanese people and the parliament and implement it in a way that secures the protection of Lebanon and its sovereignty and achieves the principle of exclusive weapons under the fever of the state and the law.
2 – The “current” confirms its standing by the Lebanese army in the measures it takes in order to achieve the principle of exclusive weapon, in implementation of the state’s policy and according to the capabilities it possesses, without holding it responsibilities that cannot be held to it related to national harmony and civil peace, and without entering into political differences that have no income in it.
