Shukair: Lebanon will return a prominent economic center in the region

The head of the economic bodies, former minister, Mohamed Shuqair, discussed with a delegation from the International Federation of Men and Business Women to activate cooperation between the economic bodies, the Beirut Chamber, Mount Lebanon, and the International Federation of Men and Businesswomen, in various fields, especially in the fields of investment and exhibitions.
Shuqair welcomed the delegation and confirmed his support for cooperation with the union, which comes in the context of the Lebanese private sector seeking to expand its relations with the Arab and foreign private sector and around the world. Shuqair presented the delegation to the capabilities and capabilities enjoyed by the Lebanese private sector and the efforts it is making to develop and strengthen the competitiveness of the national economy. And Shukair stressed to the delegation that “Lebanon entered a new and promising stage after the election of the President of the Republic and the formation of a government,” He drew attention to the existence of great investment opportunities, if it is in government projects and reconstruction, or in the various economic sectors, stressing that Lebanon, with its various large components and capabilities, will return a prominent economic center in the region.
