Rising tensions in Ukraine enhance oil prices



Oil prices stabilized when settling in Friday’s session amid a state of ambiguity regarding a possible peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, but it recorded the first weekly gains in three weeks.

Brent crude futures rose six cents or 0.09% to $ 67.73 a barrel upon settlement. The US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 14 cents, or 0.22% to 63.66 dollars.
