The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister affirmed Kuwait’s permanent standing alongside Lebanon and its keenness to stabilize and prosper. Minister Al -Yahya welcomed the decision to limit arms in the hands of the Lebanese state, stressing its importance in promoting stability.
Raji stressed that “this decision should have been taken for many years. It was an agreement that the solution was that the weapon would be exclusive in the hands of the state and legitimacy, away from any internal confrontation, in order to preserve the security and stability of Lebanon.” He also stressed “the importance of the Lebanese -Kuwaiti joint committee as soon as possible, which contributes to activating the frameworks of bilateral cooperation and expanding its fields, in the service of the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.”
