Patience and hope … a spiritual and cultural meeting on the anniversary of the absence of Mr. Sadr

The Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Yaqoub Development Foundation, in cooperation with the Islamic Christian meeting, organized a dialogue meeting in the meeting center – Al -Rabwah, on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the kidnapping of Imam Sayyid Musa al -Sadr, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoub and Professor Abbas Badr al -Din. The meeting carried the slogan “patience and hope” under the title “The importance of solidarity in facing challenges”, and was attended by a number of religious, cultural and academic personalities.
Sheikh Fouad Khris gave the speech of the scholar, Mr. Ali Fadlallah, stressing that some of the personalities who only possessed “the weapon of the word, the language of love and the words of mercy” were able to raise fear in the sick souls, including Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoub, who accompanied Imam al -Sadr in his career. He explained that the absence of these people was not a targeting of people as much as it was an attempt to absent a whole homeland, and an intellectual, political and religious value. He added that the absence of these stature was part of a project to tear the country and weaken its unity. He stressed that the Lebanese experiences proved that excluding any sect or component is reflected negatively on everyone, warning of the game of differentiation and displacement that may open the door to new maps scenarios in the region. It is considered that the most important lesson extracted from this experience is that the unity of the Lebanese is not luxury or slogans but rather the only option to protect the country from the wars And divisions. He concluded, stressing the need to be careful not to fall into the trap of plans that seek to exclude the Lebanese from their spaces and roles, calling for clinging to the spirit of unity and solidarity.
