In a statement, the assembly said: “The expected bill provides for giving 22 salaries at the beginning of the year 2026, and then gradually raised the number of salaries at a rate of 6 times annually to reach, by the year 2030, to 46 times An inflation currently. ”

He also called on the assembly to “review the approved inflation rate, which has changed a lot since the preparation of the project to the present time”, calling for the return of the purchasing value of salaries as it was before the crisis, and without fragmentation, while maintaining compensation for fuel sheets for workers in the public administration, especially since the positive reasons mentioned during the giving this allowance still exist, and have not changed. “
He explained that “raising the minimum wage in the public sector to 20 million pounds is no longer acceptable, given the high minimum wage in the private sector to 28 million Lebanese pounds,” noting that “the minimum wage in the private sector was 18 million Lebanese pounds, when preparing the project.”
