On Lebanon and the camps .. What did you announce today?

The spokesperson for the Palestinian National Liberation Movement, “Fatah”, Abdel -Fattah, said that the move in Beirut and the Palestinian camps, which is to hand over the third batch of the Palestine Liberation Organization to the Lebanese army as a deposit, represents the largest delivery process of its kind since July 1991, and it included heavy and varied weapons, and is scheduled to include 10 out of 12 Palestinian camps in Lebanon.
A state added: “This great effort is led by the Palestinian National Security Forces headed by Major General Ibrahim, in full coordination with the Lebanese security services, in a way that confirms the joint Palestinian Palestinian cooperation up to the agreed goal, which is to extend the authority of the Lebanese state over its entire lands, and ensure exclusive weapons in its hands.”
He stressed that “this step came in implementation of what President Mahmoud Abbas announced with the Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun on May 21, an agreement that establishes a new stage of fraternal partnership between the two peoples, based on respecting Lebanese sovereignty and adhering to Lebanese laws.”
A state stressed that “the basic equation agreed upon is not limited to the security side only, but also includes improving the living, social and economic conditions of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, in a way that guarantees a decent life, and prevents their exploitation or pushing them into any external agendas, without affecting their right to return or open the door for resettlement.”
He concluded: “We want a safe and stable Palestinian camp, preserving its national symbolism as the title of the right to return, and it is a valid environment for work, production and steadfastness, in order to enhance the presence of the Palestinian refugee in Lebanon as an authentic part of the struggle of its people and its just cause until the return is achieved.”
