After the Council of Ministers approved the change of the name of the Ministry of Social Affairs to the “Ministry of Social Development”, the Minister of Social Affairs Hanin Al -Sayed on the “X” platform wrote: “The Council of Ministers approved amending the name of the ministry to become the Ministry of Social Development, a step that reflects a shift from the methodology of sponsorship to social and economic empowerment, and comes at the heart of the new strategy of the Ministry.”
