Mitri: The government is committed to the principle of restricting weapons in the hands of the state and not others


He added in an interview with Sky News Arabia: “We want to put the debate on the weapon in its Lebanese framework away from the interventions.”
He continued, saying: “The government is committed to the principle of inventory of weapons in the hands of the state and not others.”
He said: “The government session on Friday will discuss the army’s executive plan to limit weapons,” noting that “the collision with the army is not in the interest of anyone.”
