Meetings of the Minister of Finance to address the effect of salaries due to the economic crisis

Today’s meeting was attended by Minister Jaber, Director of Finance General George Maharawi, the representative of the International Monetary Fund, Ferreko Lima, representatives of the World Bank and the concerned representatives on government and ministerial bodies, the Civil Service Council and experts assigned to provide their expertise in this field. The areas that were affected by the Israeli attacks, as well as a research on joint projects between the Ministry of Finance and the bank and the one that is transmitted from it.
Jaber and Mulla agreed to prepare a visit to the executives of the World Bank to Lebanon in the next fall for the field of his needs and possible ways to benefit from the submission that the bank may provide to carry out vital projects for a number of sectors. Information technology fields to help in building the information rules that the Ministry is working on updating and developing.
