Marcus: The Middle East is a resilience, creativity, and human capital

Marcus touched on the reality that Lebanon is going through and the difficult circumstances that it is witnessing, stressing the need to cooperate together and concerted efforts locally and globally for sound societies and a better future.
He said: “Our land knew greatness and sadness, innovation and instability, promise and pain. Today, the Middle East stands at a milestone – not only in relation to the land and identity, but also with vision and the future. The challenges we face are enormous.”
In this context, the Minister of Information affirmed that “besides these obstacles, exceptional opportunities are.
He continued, “Governments cannot work alone, as the size of the issues we face requires a partnership. A partnership between countries, international institutions and civil society. A partnership between religious sects and cultural institutions. A partnership that rests gaps and places man in the center of attention.”
“The Middle East Church Council is an example of this commitment. Its mission exceeds the sectarian limits: defends the dignity of man, builds bridges between peoples, and presents solidarity wherever the need is inspired by it. He reminds us that faith, when translates into service, becomes a force for recovery and reconciliation.”
In conclusion, Dr. Paul Morcos that “the Middle East has always been the land of intersections: for cultures, ideas and religions. Let us take care of these intersections now, not to confrontation, but to peace; not to despair, but to dignity; not to division, but to a common and prosperous future …”.
