Macron welcomed Trump’s commitment to end the war in Gaza

French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed President Trump’s commitment to end the war in Gaza and ensure the release of all hostages.
He said: “I hope that Israel will firmly engage in this basis. Hama has no choice but to immediately release all hostages and follow this path.” He added: “These elements must provide in -depth discussions with all the partners concerned to build a permanent peace in the region, based on the two -state solution and the elements approved by 142 countries at the United Nations at the initiative of France and the Kingdom Saudi Arabia”.
