Londos briefed President Aoun on anti -corruption measures

The Director General of State Security, Major General Edkar Londs, reviewed the most prominent measures implemented by the General Directorate in the field of anti -corruption within some public departments and institutions, during a meeting with the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun.
President Aoun praised the work of the Directorate, calling for “strictness in combating corruption and protecting public money, enhancing efforts in the field of social security and pursuing violations that affect vital facilities,” according to an official statement of the General Directorate of State Security. This meeting came in the context of following up government efforts to enhance transparency and combat administrative violations, especially in public institutions that affect the lives of citizens directly. The statement stressed that the Directorate will continue to monitor the implementation of corrective procedures, in cooperation with the competent judicial and legal authorities, to ensure that violators are held accountable and achieve the actual deterrence of manipulations of public money.
