Lebanon is in compulsory waiting period

The Lebanese political scene is witnessing a state of stagnation with all internal initiatives and political contacts stop.
According to informed political sources, the various parties are dealing with the stage as a “compulsory waiting period” until it becomes clear the fate of the situation in the region and the war between Iran and Israel and the repercussions of the Israeli Adwan on Qatar, because of the direct impact on the Lebanese balances.

These sources believe that the results of this confrontation, whether it ended with a settlement or an open escalation, will inevitably be reflected in the Lebanese internal scene, specifically on the balance of power among political parties. Therefore, most of the “local players” prefer to wait and not burn any paper before the regional image becomes clear.
Accordingly, the political reality entered the stage of “full braking”, waiting for those who will impose its conditions in the upcoming regional equation.
