Laurent Blanc’s dismissal from Al -Ittihad training after falling in front of victory

Al -Ittihad dismissed the Saudi “Roshen” champion last season, his French coach, Laurent Blanc, from his position after the loss against his opponent Al -Nasr in the fourth round of the competition, according to the club belonging to Jeddah, through an official statement on Sunday morning.

The club thanked Ballan for his efforts in the last period, during which he achieved the league and cup dualism, and instructed the Saudi coach Hassan Khalifa to train the team temporarily until he contracts with a new technical staff.

Laurent Blanc took over the Al -Ittihad team in the summer of last year, and he played 46 games with him in all competitions, during which he achieved 35 wins, tied in 5 games, while he was lost in 6 games, half of which is this season, including two losses against Al -Nasr in the Super and the league, in addition to a defeat against the UAE unit in the AFC Champions League.
