Laura Lahoud: The plan to limit weapons in the hands of the state confirms the sovereignty of Lebanon

The Minister of Tourism, Laura Al -Khazen Lahoud, said: The plan to restrict arms in the hands of the state is in the interest of Lebanon and affirms its sovereignty over its entire lands.

She indicated that: The army plan is studied and linked to the Lebanese reality, not hostile or directed against a specific party.
She continued: We demand regional and international support in order to pressure Israel to stop its violations in Lebanon.
She stated that: We feel sorry for the withdrawal of Hizbullah ministers and the Amal movement from the government session today.
She emphasized that “we look forward to an internal consensus on the exclusive arms in the hands of the state and the interest of the state and the people is priority.”
