Karim Salim Salam, Chairman and Director General of Touch

Mr. Karim Salim Salam was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Touch and the General Manager for a year, after the ordinary general assembly of the company was adopted today, in the presence of the Minister of Communications, Charles Al -Hajj. A new board of directors was also elected for a full year, with the membership of: Ali Yassin, Jawad Nakad, Hisham Al -Ashqar and Marwan Zintot.

On this occasion, the Minister of Communications, Charles Al -Hajj, congratulated the new board of directors as Chairman and members, and urged them to “intensify all efforts in the next short period to achieve the basic goals of seeing the Ministry of Communications that focus on converting Lebanon into a pioneering regional digital center, by accelerating the expansion of broadband service and preparing for the fifth generation technology; creating new sources of imports that depend mostly on digital technology; increasing profits through Sustainable business models; and promoting the quality of communications and data service to meet the expectations of the subscribers. A achievement of a great improvement in the cellular communication service by up to 50% until the end of the current year, and the Ministry has started developing the network and the establishment of new towers in various Lebanese regions, provided that the investment expenditures exceed CAPEX operating expenses Opex in an endeavor of the Ministry in investing in infrastructure and equipment.
