Joint Committees’ Projects .. From Qulayat Airport to the Convention on Biological Diversity

The joint parliamentary committees held a session in the House of Representatives headed by the Vice -President of the Council, Elias Bou Saab, in the presence of the financial ministers of Yassin Jaber, the Interior Ahmed Al -Hajjar, the communications Charles Al -Hajj, the economy Amer Al -Bassat, and the environment Tamara Al -Zain, along with a number of deputies and representatives of the relevant departments.
After the session, Bou Saab explained that the meeting came at the invitation of the Speaker of the Council, Nabih Berri, in the context of accelerating the pace of the legislation to keep pace with the government’s steps. He pointed out that the agenda included five basic items, most notably:
