Israel is unable to attack this Arab state … What are its strengths?

The magazine “Military Watch”, which specializes in military analyzes, stated that Algeria is well immune to any possible attacks by Israel due to the advanced armament systems obtained from Russia and China. The magazine explains that Israel, despite its success in carrying out multiple air strikes across the region in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Qatar, depends on its military ability on the weakness of its opponents’ defenses more than its self -superiority. The Israeli air fleet still depends mainly on old F-15 and F-16 models, which lack the latest radar and electronic hacking technologies, while the number of modern F-35 aircraft is limited to a relatively limited number. In this context, Algeria appears as a unique exception in the Middle East and North Africa region, where it has adopted an independent defensive strategy since the beginning of the past decade, especially after the fall of the Gaddafi regime In Libya in 2011, which exposed it to a sharp security problem and showed the risk of relying on weak defenses in front of external air strikes. Since then, Algeria has invested extensively in building an integrated and developed air defense network, imported from Russia and China: starting with advanced radar systems, through remote-range surface-to-air missiles, to the fleet of modern fighters, all free of political or technical restrictions imposed by Western countries on their allies.
