Industrial Research Institute: 102 customs statement that does not match specifications in August 2025



The Industrial Research Institute issued a statement on the work of assessing conformity on imported products subject to the provisions of the mandatory specifications decrees applied by the institute during the month of August 2025.
According to the statement:
The number of registered and processed customs data at the institute reached 3,835.
– The data that was evaluated in the country of the source: 34 statement.
Data that turns out to be not subject to decrees after study: 1,128.
Data that underwent technical files study: 616.
Data that was referred to detection and examination after study: 2,057.
– Data that was revealed during the period: 2,443. 102 customs statement came from the provisions of the decrees, and distributed in the following form: washing powder (4), cosmetics (12), coding tools (7), electrical appliances and supplies (57), ceramic tiles and healthy tools (9), medical tools (1), hydraulic oil (1), energy devices (3), Furniture (5), Fabrics (3).
– Scourse incest (bacterial pollution) – 7200 Pack – China – Beirut Port.
Hydraulic oil (a problem with foam and viscosity) – 250 gallons – Iraq – Tripoli port.
Dentistry tools (the absence of the factory name and certificates) – 2000 pieces – China – Beirut Airport.
– Cotton (internal impurities when using) – 400 Pack – Egypt – Beirut Port.
