Haykal: The army is coming to a precise stage in which it takes sensitive missions

The commander of the army, General Rudolph Haykal, held an exceptional meeting, attended by the pillars of the leadership, the leaders of the units and the work of the operational, and a number of officers, in which he dealt with the latest developments in Lebanon and the army in light of the current exceptional stage, amid the violations and attacks of the Israeli.

During the meeting, General Heikal said: “The army bears major responsibilities at various levels, and it is about to accurately undertake sensitive tasks, and will take the steps necessary for the success of its mission, taking into account the preservation of the civil peace and internal stability.”
He added: “We have made great sacrifices and we gave the martyr for the sake of our national duty, and nothing will be given to us to take responsibility in various regions and throughout the borders.”
He continued: “We are conducting the necessary communication with the Syrian authorities regarding the control of the northern and eastern borders, because of its common interest.”
He concluded, stressing that the army leadership continues its efforts to enhance the capabilities of the institution and improve the conditions of the military by relying on self -capabilities and supporting brotherly and friendly countries.
