Geagea meets the delegation of the Teachers’ Authority to discuss educational and trade union issues



The head of the “Lebanese Forces” party, Samir Geagea, received, at the party’s general headquarters in Ma’rab, the delegation of the teachers ’interest in the party headed by Ramzi Batish, in the presence of a number of senior officials in the party, including a member of the executive body Michel Tannouri, Secretary -General Emil Makarzel, Assistant Secretary for Interest Affairs Nabil Abu Joudeh, and the coordinator of the Zahle Alan Mounir region, and members of the Central Council Eli Abi Taya, Rabie Franji, And Rani Bou Rajili.
The meeting was also attended by the treasurer of the Executive Council of the Teachers Syndicate, Walid Matta, and a member of the Executive Council, Maya Matar. The meeting was an occasion to discuss in various public affairs of the country, as well as focus on educational and union issues, reflecting the commitment of the “Lebanese Forces” party to support the education sector and follow up on teachers ’demands. Geagea stressed during the meeting the importance of coordination between the party and education institutions to ensure improving educational conditions, and protecting the rights of teachers, with Focusing on enhancing open and continuous dialogue between all parties concerned to serve the public interest of the educational sector in Lebanon.
