Explanation from Minister Makki’s office: Fabricated and baseless news

The media office of the Minister of State for Administrative Development Affairs, Fadi Makki, issued the following statement: “Some news sites and social media have circulated fabricated and false news to Minister Fadi Makki, talking about situations that are not related to reality. This news is only part of the attempts to mislead and distort that we are used to, through the fabrication of baseless positions.”

He stressed in a statement that he adhered to Lebanon in its sovereignty over its entire lands, and his rejection of any violation or attack by Israel, as well as any position or proposal that contradicts the supreme national interest and the interest of the sons of the south.
He stressed that “his position is completely harmonious with the ceiling of the government’s ministerial statement, which constitutes a clear reference for the state’s policies and national positions. Therefore, what is rumored is nothing more than a miserable attempt to falsify facts and cultivate confusion, while the truth is fixed, and the commitment to the national principles and the ministerial statement is clear and established that does not accept skepticism or interpretation.”
