Egypt sends a message to Israel

During the meeting on the sidelines of the work of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Abdel -Ati reiterated Egypt’s efforts to stop the war in Gaza, expressing the aspiration to intensify joint efforts to stop the bloodshed and prevent attempts to displace the Palestinians. He stressed the need to achieve an immediate and permanent ceasefire, and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. He stressed that achieving peace will only come through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
