Egypt is moving diplomatically to contain the escalation in Gaza and demands a firm international response

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today, Tuesday, that Badr Abdel -Ati, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, assured his Italian counterpart, Antonio Tayani, by phone, the necessity of urgent intervention from the international community, and taking active steps to stop the Israeli Adwan on Gaza.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry added that the Egyptian Foreign Minister warned of the danger of the expansion of Israeli military operations in Gaza during the contact that took place yesterday. For Germany pressed Israel to put an end to its “continuous violations.”
