Death boats .. A new tragedy raises the outcome of the drowning between France and Britain

The tragedy of irregular migrants is still repeated on the northern coast of France, as during the past two days, deaths and injuries to the ranks of immigrants who tried to cross into Britain on board crowded boats, in a scene that reflects the size of the risks they face.
The French authorities announced that they saved about 400 immigrants within 48 hours, including children and women, amid harsh climatic conditions and a severe decrease in temperature. Yesterday, at least 176 immigrants, including a large number of wounded, were rescued, while an unconscious boy was found on one of the beaches to leave later. Cardiac resuscitation attempts, five others were slightly wounded, while a number of immigrants suffered from a sharp decrease in body temperature. On the same morning, another immigrant body was recovered in the city of Gravicin, and the Public Prosecution in Donkirk suggested that the death occurred a few days ago. Thus, the death toll from the beginning of the year increases to at least 27 people, according to the statistics of the French Press Agency based on official data. On the other hand, Britain recorded the arrival of about 895 immigrants on 12 small boats, at a rate of approximately 75 people in each boat, which is a very high rate that reflects increasing pressure on the British authorities. These developments come in light of the implementation of the new immigration agreement between London and Paris that It entered into force last August, and stipulates the principle of “one to one”, that is, the return of an immigrant from Britain in exchange for allowing another immigrant from France legally to enter. But this procedure, which was met with wide criticism from NGOs and faces judicial stab wounds, is still limited to impact and does not deter migrants from taking the journey of danger through the English channel.
