Bolivia .. the arrest of a minister after the United States delivered it

The Bolivian authorities arrested former minister Arturo Moreyo, who was delivered by the United States after he was sentenced to money laundering, upon his arrival in Santa Cruz on Thursday to respond to charges in his country.
In January 2023, Moriio was sentenced to 70 months in prison in an American prison for his role in a bribe that he received in exchange for an American company in winning a contract to supply tear gas to Bolivia. A decision was issued to release him early and order an American judge specialized in immigration cases to deport him earlier this month. Moreyo assumed the interior portfolio in the temporary right -wing government headed by Janine Annas, who assumed the ruling in Bolivia in 2019 after Evo Morales, the first indigenous president. The Bolivian government minister Roberto Rios said on Wednesday evening that upon the arrival of Moreyo, the authorities will implement the two local arrest warrants.
