Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Mitri announced that “the government will not retract the decision to restrict weapons,” noting that “the American delegate Thomas Barak returned to Lebanon without any Israeli answer to the American paper that fell.”
In a television interview, today, Saturday, Mitri said: “Hizbullah, the army and the government are agreed to avoid confrontation and the agreement includes the lack of a Lebanese -Lebanese conflict. I told House Speaker Nabih Berri that the Friday session should be calm and dialogue and from the point of agreement of all.”
He continued: “Prime Minister Nawaf Salam did not carry me any inquiries from Berri, nor does he need me, because I am not a postman.”
In another context, Mitri said that “there were discussions to determine the date of the visit of the Syrian delegation to Lebanon,” noting that “the visit was imminent, but it was not set for it and was not obstructed.”
On the authority of Imam Musa al -Sadr, on the anniversary of his absence, Mitri said: “Al -Sadr was not just a cleric, but was a symbol of national unity and social justice and a beacon of dialogue between religions and sects.”
