At $ 8.5 billion .. Washington sells Patriot systems to Denmark and Ukraine

The United States has agreed to sell several Patriot air defense systems, and other weapons of its ally in NATO Denmark, which intends to support Ukraine in its confrontation with the Russian forces fighting battles in Ukraine.

The US State Department approved the deal, which is valued at 8.5 billion dollars, and includes 6 launch platforms, radar and guidance systems, and associated missiles. Denmark and other military alliances seek to provide Ukraine with advanced weapons systems to enhance its defenses in the face of Russian attacks. And as Denmark does not occupy Patriot systems, it is obliged to buy it from the United States.
