An agreement between the Medical and Social Security Syndicate .. This is what it stipulated

Dr. Elias Shalala, Director General of the National Fund for Social Security, visited Dr. Mohamed Karaki, where he was discussed in various affairs related to the relationship of doctors with social security, in addition to medical and hospital files and the fund’s offerings.
According to a statement issued by the Medical Syndicate, it was agreed to prepare a draft law to reduce the fines arising from the doctors who are backward from paying their subscriptions to the fund by 85%. The Director General of Security has prepared the draft law and submitted it to the Minister of Labor, Muhammad Haider, who will in turn to the Council of Ministers in preparation for his follow -up in the House of Representatives for its issuance as soon as possible. Doctors thanked Dr. Karaki and the Minister of Labor for their response, noting the importance of supporting the fund at all levels in order to continue to perform its duties in the service of the Lebanese. Shalala emphasized the existing cooperation between the union and the social security in the interest of doctors and society alike.
