Today, Tuesday, the Amman Prosecutor summoned a number of people, including MP Wissam Arbihat, to investigate them after receiving money and financial transfers from unknown sources in a way that violates the law.

A source confirmed that the method of collecting and receiving money raised suspicions, pointing out that it does not correspond to the economic or commercial activity of the summonses, nor with the nature of their income sources. The source noted that the university colleagues did not obtain the necessary licenses to collect them under any formula, and they created and managed electronic portfolios (Click) to receive financial amounts through many bank accounts. These actions constitute a misdemeanor of establishing a platform for receiving the funds, investing and managing them without a license from the competent authorities, in contrast to the provisions of Article 22 of the Electronic Crime Law.
