Al -Tarshishi noted the visit of the Lebanese delegation, Egypt: promising results

The President of the National Federation of Peasants, Ibrahim Al -Tarshishi, praised the recent visit of the official Lebanese delegation to Egypt, which “achieved positive and promising results,” praising the agricultural relations that link the two countries and which “bears promising indicators in the interest of the farmers in Lebanon and Egypt.”
A Lebanese delegation headed by the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Nizar Al -Hani, visited Egypt last week and also included the delegation, Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Louis Lahoud, President of the Exporting Exporters and Mercury Syndicate in Lebanon, Naim Khalil, President of the National Federation of Peasants Ibrahim Al -Tarshishi and head of the Potato Presse Union in Bekaa Kabi Faraj, Director of Agricultural Wealth in the Ministry of Agriculture Rania Al Hayek, Director of Livestock in the Ministry of Agriculture in the Ministry of Agriculture Elias Ibrahim, in addition to a group of exporters
Al -Tarshishi noted, “The efforts of the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Nizar Al -Hani, who focused on the visit on all the demands of the farmers, exhibiting all the obstacles and obstacles that the Lebanese farmer and source complained, and there was a very positive Egyptian response.”
He pointed out that “we went out at the conclusion of this visit and the accompanying series of meetings with the public and private sectors in Egypt, with an atmosphere of friendliness, understanding and joint keenness to enhance cooperation.”
Al -Tarshishi pointed out that “the discussions focused on facilitating the entry of Lebanese goods into the Egyptian markets within the framework of adhering to the agricultural calendar that guarantees the protection of products in the two countries,” noting that “Lebanon exports more than seventy thousand tons of apples to Egypt, along with large quantities of peach, peach and cherry, with the expectation of the entry of grapes in the next stage.”
He considered that “this visit opened new horizons for the Lebanese agricultural sector to expand and open up to the Arab markets, adding that it was a basic station for the drainage of Lebanese agricultural production and the promotion of the resilience of farmers.”
At the end of the visit, Al -Tarshishi presented an honorary shield to the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture, Alaeddin Farouk, who welcomed the Lebanese delegation and expressed great interest in his demands, according to the statement.
