Al -Hajjar received the American ambassador

In his office today, the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Al -Hajjar, received the American Ambassador Lisa Johnson on a farewell visit for the end of its diplomatic duties in Lebanon.
The meeting was an occasion to present the latest developments in the situation in Lebanon and the region, and to emphasize the importance of continuing cooperation between the two sides, and support from the United States to the agencies affiliated with the Ministry, especially the Internal Security Forces. The Minister of Foreign Affairs also met the director of the French Development Agency in Lebanon, Jean Bertran Mout, and joint projects and ways to enhance partnership in the areas of support for local development were discussed.
