After the decision to limit the weapons: Lebanon is on the lips of the explosion … and this scenario is the most dangerous

Newspaper
Hezbollah, with clear support from Iran, put the era of President Joseph Aoun and the government of Nawaf Salam in front of the most dangerous political crisis, and Lebanon has been in front of an open turn on all scenarios, including the restoration of the 2006 crisis, when the Shiite ministers boycotted the government of Fouad Siniora because of the international court, then the party used its weapon inside Beirut against its political opponents to impose the Doha settlement in 2008.
The situation reached this extent after the Shiite duo chose yesterday, responding to the government’s decision to restrict weapons in the hands of the state and instruct the Lebanese army to prepare an executive plan from now until the end of the current year, to withdraw from the second government session that was devoted to discussing the paper of the American delegate Tom Brak, and the duo managed to pressure the Fifth Shiite Minister Fadi Makki to withdraw from the session, knowing that in the last Tuesday session he was the minister who secured the mandate.
Before their withdrawal, the ministers of the Shiite duo tried to demand a reconsideration of the decision to limit the weapons and to assign the army to prepare the plan and determine a period of time, but the president of the republic and the government refused, so the two ministers demanded the postponement of the bit of the Barak paper until after preparing the army plan, but this request was also rejected.
The withdrawal of the Shiite duo comes after great pressure exerted from Hezbollah and the government’s Amal movement to retract its decision, and that Iran entered the line through its Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji, who considered that the government’s decision would fail, declaring Tehran’s support for any step by Hezbollah in the face of the decision. In another Iranian position closer to the threat, the Assistant Commander of the Quds Force Erj Mesjdi considered that the party’s weapon would never be removed. These Iranian positions re -mixed the papers on the Lebanese internal scene, which was reflected in the political tension that Lebanon lived on the impact of the government session.
Despite the withdrawal of the duo ministers and considering that the session has become a lack of the charter that there is no basic component at the Cabinet table, the session remained continuous, and the research was completed in the Barak paper, but some ministers suggested postponing the research and not making a decision so that things do not escalate more. The Prime Minister suggested to start discussing the goals contained in Barak paper, while the couple ministers stressed the need to correct the government’s decision, and objected to setting a timetable for discussions related to the resistance weapon in light of the continued Israeli occupation and attacks, especially since the paper presented has not yet had Israeli approval.
The circles affirmed the party’s readiness to discuss exclusive weapons, as stated in the ministerial statement of the government that won confidence, but only within the framework of the national security strategy. Immediately after starting to discuss the first page of the American paper, the Shiite ministers withdrew from the cabinet session, including Fadi Makki.
This matter opens the Lebanese scene to multiple possibilities, including the possibility of disrupting the council’s sessions for a while, pending that the Lebanese army will prepare its plan, and then the research in the paper will be re -searched again.
