Abdullah submits a law proposal to establish a real estate area for the Municipality of Saadiyat

Under the directives of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Timur Jumblatt, a member of the “Democratic Meeting” bloc, MP Bilal Abdullah, submitted a law proposal aimed at establishing a real estate area for the Municipality of Saadiyat and real estate within it, after the municipal council and its president, Khaled Al -Asaad, ended all the documents and procedures required to establish the real estate reality of the town.

The text of the proposal: Article 1: A real estate area of ​​the Municipality of Saadiyat and the real estate within it (according to the attached map) is established. The real estate region of the town of Saadiyat is established within the scope of real estate numbers containing the attached table the second article: The real estate owners are exempt within the Saadiyat real estate area established under this law from the fees for replacing their bonds for a period of two years from the date of the entry into force of this law. Official reasons: When the Saadiyat municipality had arisen after the Al -Saadiyat town of Al -Damour municipality was removed by Resolution No. 1649 dated 12/29/2022. And the real estate located in the town of Saadiyat was, and despite the establishment of the Saadiyat municipality, it is still classified in the Damour Real Estate region, despite the existence of a specific between the two towns and recognized by both municipal councils, and when Article 3 of Resolution No. 188/26 stipulated that “every village or city is composed of its borders a real estate area and it is permissible for one city to include several real estate regions.” Also, Article 6 of the same decision stipulated that “the liberation and specification works are followed by a village village in every district or governorate, and a region in cities. The municipality in Damour was issued in its session on 4/9/2019 Resolution No. 202, which stipulated: “The Damour Municipal Council, after the lesson, decided to agree to the attached map, which draws the borders between Damour and the Municipality of Saadiyat as is currently, and signed with a straight line that starts east of the borders of the Dubai Real Estate area, ending west by the maritime borders of the Damour region, and the mayor’s delegation to complete the project.
