A statement on the Information and Technology Syndicate .. This is what it stated

The Information and Technology Syndicate in Lebanon called on the government to accelerate the approval of the project to establish an independent ministry for technology and artificial intelligence, warning that procrastination has missed the country a strategic opportunity for economic advancement and restoring its pioneering role in the areas of innovation and digital transformation.
The union praised the step of the establishment of the Ministry of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence and the appointment of Minister Kamal Shehadeh at the head, considering that converting it into an independent ministry, according to what was stipulated in the ministerial statement, constitutes a basic pillar of the implementation of the national digital transformation strategy, and a lawlessness to attract investments and create job opportunities. She confirmed that Lebanon’s digital future cannot bear more delay, asking President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam by inserting the file on the priority schedule of the cabinet and taking the necessary decision without slowing down.
