A state of national emergency in Washington

US President Donald Trump said that he would announce a state of national emergency in Washington, DC, after the mayor of the city, Morel Bawar, informed the federal government that the Capital Police will not cooperate with the Immigration and Customs Department.
The dispute revolves around providing information about individuals who live in the United States or enter it illegally. Trump’s threat adds to a series of procedures that his critics consider a miniature in the federal powers, in light of more than two thousand forces patrolling the city’s streets. Trump’s statement came after thousands of protesters went out to the streets this month, in protest against his decision in August to deploy the National Guard forces to “re -impose law, order and public safety”, after he described the crime rates as a scourge in the capital. Trump is on the “Truth Suchs” platform: “The place witnessed an unprecedented prosperity within a few weeks. For the first time in decades, there are almost no crimes.” An immediate response from Bawar Bawar, mayor of the city municipality was not issued to the request for comment on Trump’s publication. Trump put the capital police department under direct federal control, and the deployment of federal law enforcement, including elements of the Immigration Administration Customs. The date of the end of their mission is still clear.
