A phenomenon is a phenomenon in some of Lebanon’s restaurants!

Some customers in Lebanon face a problem upon their request to take the rest of their food in restaurants, as some of these restaurants refuse to meet this request, although the customer has paid the whole food, even if he does not consume it completely. This is unjustified, especially in light of the difficult economic conditions that drive many to avoid wasting food.

After some audit, it has been shown that left food is sometimes heated and provided to other customers, which raises question marks about the standards of hygiene and safety. At other times, the food is left to spoil, which contributes to the exacerbation of the problem of food waste.
Hence, it is necessary for the customer’s right to be respected to take his remaining food, and to promote a culture of respect for grace and non -waste, whether by individuals or institutions.
