A new statement for Salam on the exclusive arms … this is what it revealed

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam considered that the decisions of the Council of Ministers are clear and cannot tolerate interpretations, that there is no return back on the issue of exclusive weapons, and that the government is continuing in the process of extending the state authority with its own forces, according to the decisions of the fifth session of last August.

In an interview with “Al -Sharq Al -Awsat”, Salam stressed that these steps “are not related to any other restrictions, because they are an implementation of what was stated in the Taif Agreement, and what was mentioned in the department’s speech to the President of the Republic, and what was stated in the ministerial statement of the government.” He pointed out that “the plan of the American delegate, Tom Barak, which was amended in the Lebanese in accordance with the Americans, which approved its goals in the government, requires a mutual application from both sides, which Israel has not yet adhered to.”
