The head of the “Lebanese Phalanges” party, MP Sami Al -Jameel, said that “there is no hesitation in the decision to disarm Hizbullah,” noting that “the government approved the principle and asked the army to present an executive plan and agreed to the points in the American and Lebanese paper, and the government’s session to discuss the plan is close.”

In a statement to him, today, Friday, Gemayel said: “All the Lebanese regions and people are outside the framework of Hizbullah’s audience, with the logic of the state and the exclusive weapon, including the Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, who assured me before everyone and in front of the media that with the restriction of weapons in the hands of the Lebanese state.”
He continued: “If Hezbollah wants a movement to oppose the state’s path, then what is its goal? What is the balance of forces in it? The state, the army, the security forces, and all sects, in a place, and Hezbollah elsewhere.”
He continued: “We cannot forget that the state will stand after 40 years of Iranian guardianship. Iran was present in the Republican Palace, the Serail, the Parliament, and the army, and therefore Lebanon will not be liberated overnight, but this path in which we go will achieve the continuity of decisions.”
He added: “There are no options in front of Hizbul, and I wish it instead of entering the collision, to accept that it be like all the Lebanese. With this, we will not allow anyone to stand in the face of the Lebanese state, and it is possible to take its decision to sovereign decisions, the state has decided and will be committed, and if the opinion of Hizbullah is different, this is his opinion.”
He said: “If there is an intention for Hizbullah to be a partner, then we are all ready to do what is necessary for the Shiite community to feel, including the entire Hizbullah audience, that their rights will reach them, and all the required steps, including the reconciliation and frankness conference that I demanded, will be taken, because the Shiite community’s position must be obtained in politics, and all of my fighters must be obtained. Hezbollah in the private sector, ministries and job opportunities, and this is what I discuss with the President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, that these people should be absorbed.
He continued: “We are the first to speak on this issue. While we were facing the Assad regime during the time of guardianship, our youth are left and our problem today is that we do not want to get to others what we have suffered from it at the time and that no one else has a feeling of injustice.”
He continued: “First, the party’s youth must join the country that must carry out a project to integrate this society with its current and we need an integrated project through a reconciliation and openness conference between all Lebanese because we have a lot of what we say and consider that this national conference must happen so that each of us can say what it has and open a new page.”
In response to a question, Al -Jameel said: “I do not see a civil war and confrontation in the street, and I do not think that there will be a street against a street. Likewise, I do not see a military confrontation, because who does not have the ability to fight the Israeli fighter on the land of Lebanon, how can he confront other Lebanese people?
On the relationship with Syria, Gemayel said: “The file of Syria is the most important file on the government table and President Aoun, as it constitutes 80% of Lebanon’s wild borders, which is its vital economic range and the good relationship saves Lebanon and tense hurts it a lot.”
He continued: “We are with an open dialogue between the Lebanese and Syrian leaderships to discuss all the outstanding files from the demarcation of the borders to restore the detainees and know their fate as the detainees in Lebanon, which is a place looking for the Ministry of Justice.”
He continued: “A Lebanese Syrian dialogue must take place, and there are Lebanese who committed Majar in Syria and participated in exterminating more than 300,000 Syrians, so we cannot disavow our responsibility at a time when part of the Lebanese have carried out war crimes in Syria. Therefore, there is a work that must happen between the two countries to fold another page and open another.”
