A 5.5 -magnitude earthquake hitting Russia

The local branch of the unified geophysical service of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Kamchatka region, in eastern Russia, has reported a 5.5 -scale earthquake on the Richter scale.
According to the information, the earthquake occurred 426 km from the city of Petrovagvis Kamchsky, at a depth of 30.8 km below the surface of the earth.
